A: Since the Spanish Language Division (SPD) members are located all around the world, the Division usually holds one annual official meeting, during the ATA annual conference. Between conferences, the Division members are encouraged to communicate and share experiences with each other through the Espalista forum. In addition, the Division quarterly publishes its bulletin “Intercambios” and maintains a web page. Also, the Division has set groups in different social networks as follows:

Q: What is “Intercambios”?
A: “Intercambios” is the publication of the ATA Spanish Language Division. It is published every three months in March, June, September and December on the SPD web page.
Q: How can I receive “Intercambios”?
A: The subscription to “Intercambios” is one of the benefits offered by the Spanish Language Division to its members. “Intercambios” is published on the SPD web page http://www.ataspd.org. When new issues are released, SPD members are notified via e-mail by ATA Headquarters.

Q: What is Espalista?
A: Espalistais the mailing distribution list of the SPD, which at present has more than 1,000 members. Espalista is a forum created to share information and promote the collaboration between ATA members interested in translation into and from Spanish. Espalista also gives its members the opportunity to meet each other and share professional experiences through the Internet.
