The Spanish Language Division (SPD) and its Editorial team are delighted to share the October 2021 issue of Intercambios!
In this issue, and as promised, Gabriela Escarrá and Dolores Guiñazú return with the second part of their article on quality control standards, and María Ester Capurro brings us her second installment on plain language and translation.
We once again welcome the excellent contributions from Fernando Navarro, Alberto Gómez Font and Emilio Bernal Labrada. And if that were not enough, Pablo Cappiello describes the first steps to enter the world of subtitling; Antoni Maroto helps us reflect on units of measurement; Nora Díaz offers us tips to increase our productivity; Nuria Mendoza Olivares gives us an endearing story inspired by her work as a medical interpreter; and we bring back the Milhojas section with Margarita Montalvo.
