Dear Spanish Language Division (SPD) members,

We are excited to invite you to the ATA 61^st Virtual SPD Annual Meeting scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 12:30 pm-1:00 pm ET. Please note the following as per the ATA:

• • Annual meeting attendance is intended only for division members. Conference registration is not required to attend the meeting.
  • 1,000 person limit per division annual meeting: first come, first served.
  • Division annual meetings will be listed on the conference website. HQ plans to provide a link to your division’s Zoom log in info. (Watch for more information as it becomes available! or email Jamie Padula at ATA headquarters if you have questions.)

The SPD will not hold a meet up. This year, we will be incredibly sad to miss our time together at the traditional SPD Annual Dinner and Raffle. But we will be ready to support the next administration’s planning and organization activities for the ATA Conference in Minneapolis, MN, where we hope to gather in person!

SPD members are encouraged to attend ATA61’s networking events and to maximize their educational time.

2020 SPD Distinguished Speaker. This year, the division is excited to have Mrs. Sofía Rodríguez as the 2020 SPD Distinguished Speaker! To review her impressive background as editor of Spanish content, please see 2020 SPD DS Mrs. Sofía Rodríguez. Mrs. Rodríguez will give two excellent presentations on Friday, October 23, 2020.
