Announcing the first issue of Bridging Cultures (Scientific Journal of the Department of Languages of UCA)
Dear ATA Spanish Language Division (SPD) members:
As Editor-in-Chief of Bridging Cultures, the Scientific Journal of the Department of Languages of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts of the Universidad Católica Argentina, I would proudly like to announce our first issue, which is the result of several months of a rigorous peer-review process and the contributions of highly renowned national and international professionals in their relevant fields of expertise, either as authors or as peer-reviewers.
In reading the journal, you may recognize the names of authors and peer reviewers, including your very own Charo Welle and Virginia Pérez-Santalla, who are distinguished SPD members. Therefore, we invite you to share and broadcast this first issue of Bridging Cultures that we are confident the ATA and SPD members will find enriching and filled with well-researched information.
Spreading the word may serve as a path for other professionals –who would like to share their knowledge and scholarly work with the whole community of translators, interpreters and professors– to be part of our journal contributing their articles in the future.
Hope you enjoy the result of the work, which is available at:
