Dear colleagues.

As you are aware, In Miami Spring into Action 2020 (SIA 2020) had to be suspended due to COVID-19; therefore, the event planned for March 20-22, 2020 could not be held.

At that time, there was too much uncertainty to foresee the immediate future of SIA 2020. At this point, however, with the country slowly starting to reopen, the Organizing Committee believes that the last thing the United States will see return to normal will be large gatherings of people.

As a result, a large event such as SIA 2020 would be held many months away and would have to be reorganized. Depending on the situation at that point, the reorganization would likely require a different program of presenters and presentations. The Organizing Committee also feels that any potential attendees to this future event should be allowed to decide—at that point—whether they want to pay the registration fee to attend.

Having said this, ATIF is announcing the issuing of full refunds to all the attendees that have not requested—and received—one yet*.

The Organizing Committee is proud to say that two thirds of the attendees have not requested a refund. This indicates that the event has a very loyal following, which is the reason the Organizing Committee hopes to plan another Spring into Action event as soon as it is safe to do so. Watch for future information.
