IN MIAMI SPRING INTO ACTION 2020 POSTPONED

The current situation with the spread of COVID-19 and the measures that are being taken by local and government institutions to contain it have made the celebration of our conference In Miami Spring into Action unfeasible. There are too many factors working against the conference–at this time–to foresee a peaceful, enjoyable, and productive event. Therefore:

CONTINGENT TO COVID-19 DEVELOPMENTS, SIA 2020 IS POSTPONED WHILE ITS ORGANIZERS CAN EVALUATE A NEW DATE WHICH WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME.

Our plans are to offer this event again as soon as the conditions permit it. We believe the program will probably resemble the one in place now, since most of our presenters have said they would gladly present at a later date. Those that cannot incur in a double expense–to travel back again-–would be given the opportunity to give their proposed lecture virtually.

We will prepare to hold the event this summer, sincerely hoping that our current situation with COVID-19 will have substantially subsided by then.

ATIF will refund absolutely every paid attendee that desires to obtain a refund–-all they have to do is ask for it. The alternative is to carry this payment towards the future event in the summer. This would also guarantee their registration.

We are very sorry for this major inconvenience. A lot of hard work, time, and money were already invested in this event, and we hope that everyone will understand that it is not because of our lack of effort that this postponement is happening.

On the bright side, SPRING INTO ACTION is not disappearing, it is only taking a brief hiatus until this summer. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any comments or questions.

Our warmest regards to all,

In Miami Spring Into Action Organizing Committee
