CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: 2022 ATA AWARDS

Advocacy, Impact, and Innovation Awards: Open for Submissions.
May 1 – May 31
ATA presents annual and biennial awards to encourage, reward, and publicize outstanding work done by both seasoned professionals and students of our craft. Learn more about these awards and how to submit a nomination.
Why ATA Awards?
By recognizing individuals and organizations for their contributions, ATA not only salutes their efforts to advance the professions but also raises awareness of the substantial impact volunteers can have when they step up to support their colleagues.
Make a Nomination!
Award recipients must be ATA members, and only ATA members may make nominations. Both individuals and organizations are eligible for nomination. Self-nominations are welcome. Nominations must be submitted by May 31. Winners will be announced during ATA’s 63rd Annual Conference (October 12-15) in Los Angeles, California.
- The ATA Advocacy Award recognizes a person or entity that has demonstrated outstanding advocacy for the language professions in general, for the importance of professional translators and interpreters, and/or for the greater societal understanding of the value of professional translators and interpreters.
- The ATA Impact Award recognizes a person or entity that has demonstrated outstanding leadership having an impact with ATA through work on a specific project or initiative. This award differs from ATA Honorary Membership in that it is presented for a specific project or initiative, rather than for lifetime achievement.
